Where we've been Where we're going Mariah, Pueblo We met Yolanda and her daughter at a recent Mobile Food Pantry distribution. “My daughter, Mariah, loves the cantaloupes because they are sweet and juicy," she told us. After retiring from her career as a music teacher, she started taking care of them often. When the COVID-19 outbreak hit, her grandchildren stayed inside with her more than usual, which meant more meals. While they found a green patch of grass to sit on and enjoy their free lunch, their aunt, Alvina, picked out fresh produce to take home. Colorado Gives Day December 08, 2020 Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide movement, celebrating and increasing philanthropy through online giving. This campaign features a $1 Million Incentive Fund. If we receive 10% of the total donations made on Colorado Gives Day, we’ll get 10% of the $1 Million Incentive Fund. Drop them off at our Colorado Springs Distribution Center and Vogl Homestead will collect them to feed to their animals and use for compost.
